Living and working in Owego, New York, I am drawn to natural fibers and techniques—specifically sheep’s wool and needle felting. Not only is this medium intriguing in terms of its functionality, tactile richness, and whimsical applications, it is also reflective of the bucolic beauty and cultural uniqueness of this area.

 

Currently, I am also an artist in Tioga Arts Council’s inaugural Arts Incubator Program called: The Walk Up Gallery & Studio Space. With the support of two other artists, we let new, artistic ideas synergize and take flight in this space.
